Earlier this summer time, the US Administration’s Working Group on Digital Asset Markets (“Working Group“) printed a report, entitled Strengthening American Management in Digital Monetary Expertise (“Report“). The Report comprises suggestions for revising current laws and IRS steering concerning trusts engaged in cryptocurrency staking, Code provisions that will deny recognition of positive aspects or losses by lively securities merchants, and reporting necessities for contributors in digital asset transactions and for the exchanges that facilitate such actions.
