This month’s release focuses on reporting. Report packs can now be renamed, both report packs and Compliance Reporting let you choose how many rows to show at a time, and the new Visual Dashboard has gone live with our first beta clients.
You’ll also notice a wider learner home page, module dependencies back on multi module courses, and fixes across Risk Assessments, the Learners page and chaser emails.
LXP Reporting
Report packs can now be renamed. Reports could already be renamed, so a pack named wrongly when it was created had to stay that way. Open the three dot menu on the pack and choose Rename.
You can also choose how many report packs to show on a page, using the selector below the list, so there is less clicking through pages to find the one you want.
Compliance Reporting
You can now choose how many rows to show at a time, using the selector below the table, rather than working through eight rows at a time. The options are capped so the report keeps loading quickly.
Visual Dashboard
The new Visual Dashboard is now live for our first group of beta clients. It lets you build your own view of your training data, choosing the charts and tables you want and arranging them how you want to see them.
It comes to everyone in the next release and we will let you know when it is there.
Learner home page
The page now uses the full width of wider screens rather than leaving space down each side. On a large monitor learners see up to five activity cards per row instead of four, so there is less scrolling to find the right course.
Enrolment events
The target completion selector, where you set a number of days, weeks, months or years, has been tidied up so it is easier to read what you have set.
Bug fixes
- A learner added without a job title can now be opened and edited, and job title is now required when you add a learner.
- Fixed several Risk Assessment issues, including trigger emails on Risk Assessment completions, the copy button on the risk assessment list, and completed assessments showing on the certificates page rather than in My Progress.
- Moving and copying reports between packs now works, as the list of destination packs no longer jumps while you scroll it.
- The menu down the left of the chaser email set up no longer gets squeezed when a lot of activities are selected.
Planned maintenance on Friday 11 September
We are moving Astute onto a new database server. The site will be unavailable from 7pm UK time and we expect it back by midnight at the latest. You will see a notice on the site in the run up as a reminder, and nothing is needed from you.
