TL;DR

  • We hosted over 30 Kraken VIP events this summer, with FIFA World Cup matches among the highlights.
  • The summer ran from Atlassian Williams F1 Team hospitality in Montréal to Madrid, through Wimbledon, BTS at Tottenham, and smaller dinners from Charlotte to Zurich.
  • The VIP portal, live on Kraken Pro web since May, is now on mobile.

June was the busiest month our events program has ever had: 18 events, with World Cup matches on the calendar almost every day. The summer kept going from there.

Here’s where the season went, and what’s new in the program.

On the track

Our F1 summer was built around the Atlassian Williams F1 Team partnership.

  • Montréal, May 22 to 24. The Paddock Club, a garage tour and a walk down the pit lane, on a Sprint weekend.
  • Factory Day, near Oxford, May 29. In April, we said a behind-the-scenes day with the team was coming. This was it: nine clients and their guests, the museum, the simulators, personalized Williams-designed trophies, and a Q&A with 1997 champion Jacques Villeneuve.
  • Monaco, June 5 to 7. We hosted 12 VIP clients for three days of private yacht hospitality overlooking the Monaco Grand Prix, fine dining in Monte Carlo, and exclusive nightlife at the official F1 afterparty.
  • Spielberg, June 26 to 28. Garage access while the crew worked.
  • Silverstone, July 3 to 5. Another Sprint weekend.
  • Zandvoort, August 21 to 23. The final Dutch Grand Prix, and a third Sprint weekend.
  • Monza, September 4 to 6. Kimi Antonelli won his home race from 19th on the grid, the first Italian to win at Monza since 1966.
  • Madrid, September 11 to 13. Madrid’s debut on the F1 calendar.

In the stands

  • World Cup, June 13 to July 19. New York and New Jersey, with VIP seating and full hospitality treatment.
  • Norway 2–1 Brazil, July 5. Watched from the Trophy Lounge at MetLife Stadium, with Erling Haaland scoring twice late to send Norway into its first World Cup quarterfinal.
  • BTS, July 7. The second of two nights at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, watched from the Chairman’s Suite, with clients bringing partners and family.
  • Wimbledon, July 11. Seats next to the Royal Box on Ladies’ Final day.
  • Madrid Derby (the local football rivalry between Real Madrid and Atlético Madrid), September 20. A week after the Grand Prix: lunch with city views, then drinks.

Between the big days

Not every evening this summer needed a stadium. Some only needed a table.

  • Amsterdam, early June. Our VIP happy hour at Soho House Amsterdam, run alongside Money20/20, brought 15+ VIPs together for an easy evening of cocktails and conversation.
  • Charlotte, June 4. A table of four at Angeline’s meant conversation ran unhurried from markets to margin and OTC.
  • Louisville, June 11 to 12. Dinner at Volare, bowling in the hotel speakeasy, then a round at Valhalla Golf Club, one of the most exclusive courses in the world.
  • Prague, June 12. We took over a rooftop venue, brought in a Michelin-starred chef, and seated 12 guests (VIPs, miners, hedge funds and some of the best-connected names in the Czech crypto scene) for an evening of unhurried conversation.
  • San Francisco, July 1. We hosted dinner in a converted bank vault with Kraken leadership at the table, so clients could give candid product feedback straight to the people who set the roadmap.
  • Zurich, late August. Our first Swiss client dinner, started with a quick apéro, followed by a four-course menu, and closing with a delicious sweet wine courtesy of our German winemaking friends.

If one of these sounds like your kind of evening, tell us in the portal’s Events and Experiences hub.

Two flagship VIP retreats

Bordeaux (Saint-Émilion)

In July 2026, we welcomed a select group of Kraken VIP clients to Hôtel Grand Barrail in Saint-Émilion, France, for a château retreat that included a fireside chat with our co-CEOs and a private evening at Château Pavie.

The highlights were a guided tasting of three vintages, the ceremonial opening of a 27-liter Primat of the 2015, and a six-course dinner by two-Michelin-star chef Sébastien Faramond.

Wyoming (Jackson Hole)

In September 2026, we hosted a select group of Kraken VIP clients for three nights in Jackson Hole, with a choice of guided morning adventures, a cowboy cookout at Split Creek Ranch, and a fireside chat with our co-CEO David Ripley.

The retreat closed with dinner at the summit of Snow King Mountain, followed by stargazing at the mountaintop observatory and planetarium.

And, coming soon, a VIP retreat in Tokyo.

The VIP portal, now on mobile

The VIP portal has been live on Kraken Pro web since May. It’s now on mobile.

It gives you one place to track your stats, connect with the team, register your interest in events and experiences, and dive into weekly private briefings and insights from our Chief Economist, Thomas Perfumo. More updates are coming soon to make the Kraken VIP experience even more seamless.

This is only the beginning. Kraken VIP 2027 is going to be unforgettable.
