Product updates now arrive inside Astute on a new News page. You can also set a Leave Date on a learner and have the account deactivate on the day they go.

You’ll also notice improvements to Instructor Led Training a department view under My Progress for Department Heads, and fixes across chaser emails, enrolment events, surveys and the Dark Astute theme.

News

Product updates now appear inside Astute. A News icon in the top bar will provide important updates that affect your organisation, such as release notes and new features. Admin’s will be notified by email initially, but can opt out at any point.

Leave dates on the Learners page

You can now set a Leave Date on a learner, and Astute deactivates the account when that date arrives.

Instructor Led Training

Course descriptions can now include formatting and links. The description is the only thing a learner sees before asking for a place, so being able to set out learning objectives as a list, or link to further information, makes it much easier for the right people to decide to register.

Notes for attendees now appears when a learner is choosing a class, alongside the module dates, so joining instructions reach them at the moment they are deciding. Further Chaser and Trigger email and merge field options have been added.

My Progress

Department Heads can now see their depratment under My Progress, the same way Managers already could.

Bug fixes

  • Event chasers set to continue chasing when a learner is past their allotted completion time now keep chasing until the activity is completed, rather than sending once and stopping. The Enrolled for less than box can be edited again.
  • The rule builder in the creation wizard shows Before or on and After or on while you build a date rule.
  • On Instructor Led Training, line managers now only see and approve requests from their own team, and the calendar shows every day of the month so classes on the last days can always be reached.
  • On survey reports, submission dates now export in a readable format, and comments report correctly when an optional comment has been left blank.
  • Concern escalates to option on a risk assessment can be set back to blank, deleting a department on the Organisation Structure page now works, and policies no longer show a View Certificate option on the learner certificates page.
  • The Add Learner panel no longer opens with fields already marked red, and both the add and edit learner panel and the Report Builder date filters now follow the Dark Astute theme.
  • Improved how the trigger and chaser email builder initially loads.
